Applied Materials describes Endura as a metallization platform with configurable process chambers for integrated process sequences. Build your spare-parts request around the installed assembly and chamber identifiers; do not approve a purchase from the platform name alone.

Use the Endura PVD parts guide to organize the inquiry. Send a full part number, revision, label photographs and the tool/chamber configuration with every RFQ.

What to include in a parts request

For each requested item, ask the supplier to identify the exact offered assembly and the evidence supporting the proposed fit:

• Shields, rings and process-kit items: provide the installed part number and approved drawing; request material, coating and condition records for the offered item.
• Targets and backing assemblies: specify the approved material and assembly identifiers, and request the applicable material and assembly documentation.
• Seals and kits: supply the required kit number and revision; ask for contents, material traceability, packaging and storage records.
• Power and control assemblies: supply label photographs and interface requirements; ask for the documented electrical ratings, software/firmware revision where applicable, and test report.
• Chamber and handling assemblies: identify the receiving module and request a complete included/excluded components list with the proposed service scope.

Compatibility: require a documented match

Ask your maintenance team to compare the installed part with the offered item against the approved parts list. Record the full part number, revision, serial number where applicable, interface drawing and chamber configuration.

If the supplier proposes a substitute, request the OEM supersession record or written application-specific engineering approval. Have the responsible engineer confirm exactly which configurations that approval covers before ordering.

Acceptance criteria for used or refurbished spares

Define the condition and evidence you will accept in the written offer:

1. Identity and traceability: label photographs, assembly identifiers and a record of repairs or modifications.
2. Inspection: photographs and measurements against the relevant drawing, with the inspection date and responsible service provider.
3. Testing: the applicable approved test procedure, test conditions, actual results and configuration-specific pass/fail limits.
4. Refurbishment scope: an itemized list of work performed and replacement components, plus any remaining qualification work.
5. Delivery and remedies: packaging requirements, receiving inspection rights, warranty scope and rejection/return terms.

Have a qualified service provider select any required leak, electrical, dimensional or functional checks. Ask for the controlling procedure before accepting numerical limits or a “tested” label.
